Barrett is a Los Angeles–based film editor whose work spans feature films, commercials and branded content.​​ Previously he co-founded the production company Liberty Films with director Duncan Jones and producer Stuart Fenegan. Their first feature, Moon — starring Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey — premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, won the BAFTA Award for Outstanding Debut, and went on to become a modern science-fiction cult classic. He has since edited features including Mute (dir. Duncan Jones), Rogue Trooper (dir. Duncan Jones), and Skylin3s (dir. Liam O’Donnell), both released on Netflix, alongside numerous commercial campaigns and collaborations with directors including Glen Luchford and Ruairi Robinson. Barrett is represented by CAA.

Gary is a former Marine Corps Sergeant who quickly learned 3d modeling, art, and generation tools and has been a leader in the gen A.I. artist space. His work experience include Dream Works, Swing-Set Production, Magnopus, Secret Level, and now collaborates with Oxen.ai. He's worked on numerous titles including The Avengers, American Horror Story, 9-1-1, Fast & Furious, The Morning Show, The Boys, Dave, Westworld and many more.
